IMS Lead Auditor – ISO 3834 / ATEX / ISI Mark / UL Mark / CE | Six Sigma Labs

Six Sigma Labs is hiring a highly experienced and technically sound IMS Lead Auditor to work across a wide range of management systems, regulatory certifications, and international conformity assessments. The role offers exciting opportunities to travel for audits across India and abroad.

This position is ideal for professionals with hands-on auditing experience in standards like ISO 3834 (Welding Quality Assurance), ATEX, IECEx, UL Mark, ISI Mark, and CE Mark.

Key Responsibilities

Lead audits, implementation, and training programs for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and other IMS standards.
Conduct technical assessments, inspection & certification audits for product certifications including ATEX, UL, ISI, CE, GOST-R, and EAC.
Develop documentation, audit plans, and compliance reports.
Provide consultancy and training for QMS, EMS, OHSMS, EnMS, and welding quality systems (ISO 3834).
Guide clients through certification & regulatory compliance requirements.
Participate in international and domestic audits as scheduled.
Ensure continuous professional development and knowledge updates.

Job Location

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Diploma / BE / BTech / MTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical Engineering or MSc in Science discipline.

Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years working in certification bodies or as an IMS Consultant / Lead Auditor.
Exposure to ISO 3834, ATEX, ISI Mark, UL Mark, IECEx, and other regulatory schemes is highly preferred.

Additional Skills:

Excellent communication (verbal & written) in English.
Proficiency in report writing and client liaison.
Strong technical and auditing knowledge.
Willingness to travel on short notice across India and overseas.

Selection Process (Standard SOP)

Telephonic Round – Resume shortlisting and initial experience screening.
Technical Assessment – Computer test, English writing, and domain-specific evaluation at Vasai/Nalasopara (Mumbai) or Delhi-NCR (Asaoti / Ballabhgarh) offices.
Financial Round – Final negotiation and offer for selected candidates.
Management’s decision will be final.

Internship Opportunity (For Freshers/Non-relevant Experience Holders)

11-month On-Job Training (OJT) with future full-time employment based on performance.
