OHSAS 18001 stands for the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series. It was a globally recognized standard for occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS), helping organizations manage risks, ensure legal compliance, and improve workplace safety.

⚠️ Note: OHSAS 18001 has been replaced by ISO 45001 (since March 2018), which is now the international standard for occupational health & safety. However, many still refer to OHSAS 18001 during transitions or legacy audits.
